Data and AI governance and strategy are key. They ensure we’re using and sharing the right data, in the right ways.

Governance is a deceptively simple term for what can become - but doesn’t have to be - a complicated situation.

This isn’t governance in the sense of a Board. Instead, it’s the roles in your organisation which you task with looking after, managing, releasing, retiring and reporting against your data. It’s fundamental to ensuring your data’s properly managed, to protecting your organisation’s security, and to protecting everyone’s privacy and data rights.

It’s becomingly increasingly important, but is often still a neglected area in most organisations.
